About Groupon: Groupon is a way to get a great deal on a variety of things and events through collective buying. Each day they will offer a deal on something, could be a product, a restaurant, an event, salon services, kid activities, adult activites, etc. The deals are at least 50% off the regular retail price most of the time. If enough people buy into the deal (and I personally have never seen when that didn't happen) then the deal is on. The deal offer is only good for one day, then they will offer something else the next day.

After you make your payment for the groupon, you print out the "groupon" and use it within the stated timeframe. Timeframes vary depending upon the business that is offering it. You can also get the groupons on your smartphone.
