$5 Dollar Weekly Menu Plan
I aim for $5.00 a meal, sometimes I'm a little over. I calculate the main ingredients prices and round up for smaller ingredients such as spices. I am able to make most dinners for $5.00 or less because of my coupon shopping and stockpiling.
This week is kind of a unusual one, I will be out of commission at the latter part of the week, so you'll notice several very "Simple Suppers" on the menu this week.
Monday -- Pizza in a Bowl & Garlic toast $2.50 (from Fix It and Forget It Cookbook found on left sidebar)
Tuesday -- Teriyaki Chicken, Veggies & Rice Bowl $8.00 (not quite within the $5 dollar budget, but a lot less than if we went to the local stir fry restaurant)
Wednesday -- Simple Supper: Mashed Potatoes, Green beans, Corn $1.00
Thursday -- Soup & Salad $2.00
Friday -- Spaghetti w/ marinara sauce $2.00
Saturday -- TBA
Sunday -- Veggie Helper $2.00
