Critter Camp at Nashville Humane Association
Do you know someone between the ages of 10 and 12 years old? Do they love animals?
Nashville Humane Association invites 10 to 12 year olds to join them for a week of learning and fun.
They will cover important issues such as proper petcare, safety around animals and pet overpopulation.
They will also have visits from other animal organizations. And its FREE!
July 13th-17th 2009
9:30am-3:30pm
The camp includes lunch, t-shirt and free veterinary exam andspay/neuter for qualifying participant's companion animals.
Space is limited! Preference given to low-income families. Children may only participate in the program once.

This sounds like a fantastic event! It is so important to educate young people on how to properly care for animals. I need to check and see if anything like this is done around Birmingham, Al. Thanks for posting about it!
