Kroger & Publix Trip

I had a change in plans this week and ended up doing grocery shopping on Monday. My pantry is going low, so I plan to try to stock up over the next few weeks. I still want to stay close to my budget, so I have to pace myself. I'm also trying to keep a running total of my grocery/household expenses and savings this year. It's on the right sidebar.

Since I'm still trying to stock up, I may make a smaller trip to the store later in the week, so this probably won't be my final weekly total. Also bad week for fresh produce, I usually try to set aside $10 of my budget every week just for fresh veggies, I guess this week, we'll have to use our frozen and canned veggies. But my parents just got home from Florida and brought back loads of grapefruit, oranges and tangerines. So, we will have very fresh fruit! Yea!
