Weekly $5 Dinner Menu
I aim for $5.00 a meal, sometimes I'm a little over. I calculate the main ingredients prices and round up for smaller ingredients such as spices. I am able to make most dinners for $5.00 or less because of my coupon shopping and stockpiling.
Monday -- Mixed Veggies, mashed potatoes, biscuits $1.00
Tuesday -- End of Summer Harvest Soup Slow Cooker $5.50
Wednesday --Lentil, Corn and Sweet Pepper Chili (from Weight Watchers Simply Delicious Cook book see left sidebar for details) $3.00
Thursday -- Barak Obama's Chili $5.00 (maybe I'll get a Nobel Cooking prize - seriously, found this recipe, thought it was funny, have to try it, not meant to be any political commentary)
Friday -- Dance Class! Grilled cheese & Tomato Soup $2.00
Saturday -- Bakeless Ziti $4.00
Sunday -- Teriyaki Veggies & Rice $2.00
