Becoming a Mom -- overnight

I ran across this article from Nia Vardalos about adopting a toddler. Nia is an actress, most famous for her movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I love how she articulates all the feelings an adoptive parent experiences in those first moments and days when they bring their new child into their home.

Although our circumstances with E were very different, the feelings were no less overwhelming.
