It was a good week at Publix

What a great week at Publix! I’m working hard to get our grocery budget down to $50 or below. I’m not there yet, but with the help of Publix BOGO sales, I’m creating a stockpile and I’m starting to see my grocery bill go down as my pantry is filling up.

My total spent at Publix this week was $35.64. I won’t bore you with all the details, but here are the highlights of my bargain trip.

6 boxes of Progresso Broth (.04 each after sale and coupon)

8 jugs of Juicy Juice ($1.24 each after sale and coupons)

9 boxes of Green Giant frozen veggies (about .70 each after sale and varied coupons)

3 cans of Green Giant veggies (.32 each after sale and coupons)

2 cans of Muir Glen tomatos (free after coupons)

2 boxes of Ronzoni spagetti (.69 each)

DiGiorno Frozen Pizza ($3.00 after sale and coupon)

I did make another stop a Kroger for other items and making my total grocery bill for the week was $81.55. So, I still have a ways to go to get to that $50 mark, but it’s getting better!
